For outdoorsy people, Coleman is among the few brands that we associate with air mattresses for our camp outs. It has definitely built its name in the market and is one of the favorite among campers and hikers alike for its durability and light weight.
Coleman lives up to its reputation as one of the top camping supplies brands with the array of inflatable air mattress it makes. Although most campers prefer the simplest air mattress to carry around, Coleman does have additional features (like built-in pump and velour toppers) for those who wants more convenience and comfort.
I would have to say that this is my favorite Coleman air mattress available in the market now! As its name suggested, this model can be used in more than one way: two twin beds separately, one king bed by zipping the twins together, or a double high twin bed by stacking and zipping the twins together. This is especially useful when you have unexpected number of guests staying over. Be a gracious host or hostess by providing your guests with linen to cover up the air mattress – they will be much more comfortable with the sheets on rather than the plastic and rayon top. You don’t have to get special linen for this as your existing bedding will suffice.
While this model allows you to enjoy the comfort of a mattress and support of bedsprings while you are in the great outdoors, I personally think that this will make a great spare guest bed. Its double high foundation allows it to inflate to a normal height mattress. Supporting this base are the additional features that makes this air mattress awesome. Among these features are the Airtight® and Double Lock Valve™ systems that keeps the air in so that you will consistently feel well-rested in the morning. What I like most about this Coleman air mattress is its Wrap-N-Roll™ Storage System for a hassle-free storage and the 120V QuickPump™ for easy inflation and deflation.
This Coleman air mattress is a great replacement for the traditional sleep mat that we are so used to bringing every time we go camping or hiking. It is the probably one of the lightest air mattresses in the market since its only features a single chamber construction. Despite it being thinner than most of its counterparts, you can assured that you will be sound asleep thanks to the 48-coil system and suede finishing on top. No more mood-hampering backaches to spoil your trip. If you frequently go camping with a partner, you can both share this air mattress and share the load of the other equipments between the two! Do remember that since you are paying less for this model, it does lack a little in terms of durability.
Although air mattresses from Coleman are not indestructible, they are by all means designed to withstand and survive any unexpected situations. The durability and quality makes them worth to be invested on with the returns of comfort and convenience!
